How to add $AIOZ to MetaMask
While the AIOZ Network will have its own layer1 blockchain, with the main net launch coming very soon, we have issued $AIOZ tokens both on the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain networks which allow users to trade them freely on centralized and decentralized exchanges. You can learn more about our roadmap here.
In the meantime, in order to trade on any decentralized exchange, you’ll need to use a wallet where you control your private keys. This is imperative for your security as well.
While you can also trade on a centralized exchange, it can be quite risky to leave your funds on these venues as they can be prone to hacks, fractional reserve practices, and password leaks, regardless of how secure they are.
As so, we want to give you a guide step-by-step on how to use MetaMask. MetaMask is a web3.0 wallet extension that is both secure and easy to use. It’s one of the best choices when it comes to DeFi interaction.
We’ll also be releasing a guide on how to use AIOZ with the Trustwallet which is available for Android and iOS, so keep an eye out for that if those are your preferred platforms.
How to use $AIOZ with MetaMask
If you haven’t done so already, please install MetaMask here.
Step 1: Go to https://aioz.network/dashboard and make sure the MetaMask is in the right network (Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain) and that you have selected the correct account (wallet address)
Step 2: Click the button on $AIOZ Dashboard website
Step 3: A popup window will appear. Depending on which network is selected on the MetaMask, the corresponding Token type will be available, click on the correct button.
MetaMask will ask you to confirm the $AIOZ token addition. If the account already has $AIOZ tokens, the balance will show up.
Step 4: Click “Add Token”
If you’re already one of our token holders, you’ll see that the $AIOZ tokens held will show up on the account balance. If you have any questions, feel free to join our Telegram group and interact with the community.
